Burnt out, out of cash, and too busy!
We are going to start up a few small projects here:
1. Fixing the back door
2. Replacing the laundry room door.
We ordered the laundry room door today. It will be here in two weeks.
We decided to go with a modern clean door, pictured below [although ours will have white trim]. Due to not being able to find hardware that fit our current doors or the door jams, we may be forced to replace all the doors. The doors have to be as old as the house, 101 years old.
I sanded and repainted two of the 10 doors and they turned out great.
However, the other eight still have 100 years of paint on them and I just don't want to go there if I can't put the right hardware on them. Plus, they each weigh at least 75 lbs and I cannot lift them on my own.
Thinking about putting these doors all throughout the house, with crystal door knobs. The are fogged glass doors.
