Formal Wedding 5 Weeks After Birth!

My brother's awesome wedding was this last weekend and I was so stressed on what I was going to wear.

The wedding was a formal event and shopping for an event when you don't know what size you'll be is pretty stressful. 

I shopped only online (shopping for dresses after having a baby isn't easy) and I used my Illustrator again to put together an outfit.

I went with a skirt that had elastic and pieced the rest together! 

The baby was a great accessory :) 

Since the wedding was right near the beach, I dressed him in some nautical blues.

It was such a fun wedding and reading this post just took me right back! I want to do it all over again... mine, hers, I love weddings.

Riverboat Wedding... was a blast!

We are still trying to recover from the weekend. We both came home sick!
That is how much fun we had in Ohio, haha. The wedding was so beautiful. The bride was gorgeous!
Congrats to the newlyweds.

I loved the old church in Cincinnati.

Now that we are back, we have to finish some projects around the house!

Riverboat Wedding... ensemble.

So, I posted those other dresses last month and ordered a few. Turns out I didn't like any of them.
I was inspired by the Royal Wedding to do something else... but in order to pull it off, I need to piece it altogether.

I found a skirt & top online, but wasn't sure they'd work together. I am not sure why I haven't ever done this before, but making a trend board works. Some of these items I've bought, some I have, and some are a wish list. I guess we'll just have to see on the day of how I put it together ;)


I am so excited for the biggest wedding of the year.... Mike & Jessica, I can't wait to party!

Riverboat Wedding

We are so excited to be attending Scott's brother's wedding this summer! We know it is going to be amazing.

However, finding a dress has been challenging... especially knowing it is going to be blazing hot, with a chance of 115% humidity, haha! If I don't find a dress now, I will be stuck buying the dresses for the 2011 fall season.  Ugggh. Help!
