Window Paint

Slowly, I will have repainted the entire front of my house...haha.
This metal window treatment outside over the front windows was badly faded. I couldn't tell what color it was supposed to be because there were two colors coming through; a dark greenish color and a blue.

I decided to just repaint it cream to match the window trim below.
Eventually, I want all the railing and trim detail to be cream and white and I want to get rid of the blue entirely. Looking to paint the front door a shade of black as well as these window shutters you see in the photos that are faded blue.

That's for a professional to do though...maybe!

This also happened to be the day that Boss was bit by my neighbor's dog. It was a terrible day. He is doing fine now, but it was a close call. The front of the house looks a little better...newer anyway.

Boss does not like this!

Major  received this very cute pony as a gift this weekend, but Boss is not having it!

Boss & The Baby

While at the hospital the first night, we sent my mom home with the baby blanket that Major was first wrapped in. She then took that back to our house and put it in Boss's bed. He sniffed it like crazy and put it in his mouth and pranced around the house so proudly, like he had a new toy.

When we first brought Major home, we left him in his car seat and Boss didn't seem to notice him or care.
Even when I carried him around for the first few days he didn't really seem to care, but it was a week after that he really started to get nosey.

It has been sad & hard for me to try to give Boss enough attention. I think its his face that makes me think he is sad he's not the baby anymore. He has a great life, but he knows he's not #1 anymore.
He is getting better each day and will walk up and lick Major's fingers softly....but then we have to tell him to back off. I don't want any fingers or toes to get "nibbled" off!

Pretty soon we'll be telling Major to leave Boss alone!
Until then, Boss is dying to play with the baby toys.

About 6 weeks to go!

Looks like someone might be feeling his time is limited with me... he's been especially cuddly lately.
We have about 6 weeks to go. I am feeling ready!

New Toy

Boss received a package today from his Uncle Mike and Aunt Jessica!
This little guy has played with his new toy all day. He has tortured me with it..... this little dragon never stood a chance! He is soaked with slobber!

Hmm...dog couch update!

I don't want Boss on the new couch...so I am thinking he needs his own couch.
What do you think? I can see him on this one from Frontgate.....haha

He loves his new bed!!!

This guy has acted like he's had a hangover all week.... wonder what he was up to at that doggie motel he stayed at for the weekend???

This can't be a comfortable way to sleep... apparently my flip flop is better than the bed he is falling out of!

A Name is Everything...

We definitely named him appropriately.
I am sitting in a chair that he cannot reach from the couch. This makes the Boss upset.

Bossy Weekend

So, we picked up the Boss on Friday. We took him today to brunch and to Home Depot. He did great. Of course we had to hold him the entire time. He's only 8 weeks and doesn't have all his shots.

New Addition

So, I was out all week for work. Busy, busy!

Anyway, we are preparing for a new addition. No, not to the house and no babies, human babies anyway.
We are getting ready for Boss to come home on Friday.

I almost have everything we need for the little guy's homecoming. Even a photo of his mama Ruby!
