Wish List - Bathroom Remodel!

I want to redo our master bathroom so bad.
I don't even shower in this bathroom because I hate the tile so much. I despise this brown tile and I hate the mold the previous owner left behind. Gross, I know! I clean it every week, but that pesky mold just keeps coming back. Once it gets in, you can't get it out.

I have been going to every tile place in town and all the new model homes to get ideas.
What I would like to do is get several slabs of Quartz (a manmade, durable surface) and put that on the walls and ceiling of my shower.....with as few grout lines as possible.
Since I do not have a window or vent in my shower, I need to eliminate as much grout as I can.

Here is a photo of a model home shower I liked using Quartz. I don't like how they did the accent tiles, but they ran the Quartz slabs up all the way to the ceiling and covered the entire seat in it as well. I would actually put it on the ceiling too.

I am digging this Elysium tile called Crystallite that mixed Carrera Marble square tiles with diamond glass tiles. http://elysiummosaic.com/product_view.asp?proid=304&group_name=MILANO%20Series

You know I love my bling and chandeliers! I might put a chandelier in the bathroom if I went with this tile. Me likey.
See below.

Model Home Using Grey Quartz slabs with Carrera Marble accent tiles

I am looking to go with a bright white Quartz with an accent tile for the floor and maybe to run down the wall vertically.

Here is my busted up brown shower. It is like a dark, creepy cave.... that was kind of going for the tuscany look. Enough with the tuscany style near the wineries people!!!!

My sad shower.... where people go to die :(

Check out the tile on top! Glass Diamonds!!!!!!! Yes please.

I like this combo best. I'd put the silver tiles on the floor of the shower!

Ideas for Family Room

These are some photos I am looking at for inspiration for our family room.
Like I mentioned in the fireplace post, the way I have the family room now, its all fighting. The furniture isn't meshing with the carpet and none of it is working with the fireplace. I must do something!!!!

Can I please have $20,000 for a new family room makeover? K, thanks!

I like the double layered rugs and the furniture is about the colors of mine.

Liking the mix of furniture styles here.

Again, same colors that I have & that double rug!

Almost there......

Ok, this is it! Now I just have to find everything here.

Vertically Challenged

So, I can barely reach anything in our cabinets above the counter tops.
It is very annoying.

I find myself climbing on the counter tops like a child to get the olive oil and salt. Yes, I know that a step stool would work. I have one. I don't like things sitting out.

In my next house, I am going to have a kitchen large enough that I don't need cabinets above the counters... OR... I will get one of these!

Blurb?

In a magazine that came in the mail today I saw an ad for Blurb.
It is a site you can make books out of your pictures on. I have done a few books on my mac using iPhoto and the books turn out great. However, the amount of pages is limited.

I might have to try this site out. You can go up to 400 pages?!
Looks pretty simple & not too expensive: http://www.blurb.com/

YSL .38 Special

This is the just the kind of protection I need!

Shoe Closet

I've decided I am going to turn my office into a shoe closet like this....

Seriously? Look at all those Louboutins & YSL's all color coordinated. Super jelly!

I'm sick

I knew this would be torture, but I did it anyway.
I knew that by letting the bottom of my feet touch that fine Italian leather that it was going to be trouble.

I tried these on today.

However... I held back and walked away empty handed.

Now I can't stop thinking about this damn shoe!
The Daffodil Louboutin... only a 5'2 girl could love you so!

I need a tan

Today is about 85 degrees today in LA. I sat out back for a while to get some sun. After I took off my sweatshirt I was practically blinded by my pale arms. I need to get in shape for summer.

I also need a new swimsuit! I have my eyes on these.... I only need about $2,000 for all four swimsuits.
Bahaha.

Height Envy....

chairs

We sat in these over weekend and they were super comfy... so if anyone is at Restoration Hardware and wants to pick these up for me, I won't be mad at 'cha.

Eventually (part I)...

2b. Wells Sofa at Room & Board

2c. Kensington Sofa at Restoration Hardware (my favorite.. white velvet)
