Kitchen Door

We had the back kitchen door replaced over the weekend.
I originally just wanted to redo the hardware on the existing doors, but couldn't find any that fit these 100 year old doors. Plus, with 100 years of paint they aren't easily redone.

When I removed the hardware off the kitchen door, I realized someone had cut a huge hole in the door so that started this project. Just like every project in this money pit, we find out a small project turns into a big one.

In this old house, the door jams are not all level. So you can't just throw a new door up, you have to remove the old jam and replace it. The jams are as crooked as a politician!
