We are started our next project: Garage Roof.
This has been a project that I know is super important, but when you aren't living in the garage, it is easier to put off. Well, we can't put off this project any longer. With our rainy season coming up, I am afraid we are going to have more problems down the road if we don't fix it now.
It turns out, there are three layers of old roofing under the top layer and it is very dry and brittle. Our wonderful neighbor's tree has grown to the side of the garage and has started to grow IN the garage as well. So, we may be faced to replace all the wood siding and the roof frame too. Until we rip off the roof, we won't know what the "true" damage is.
Tomorrow we shall find out!

It is important to ensure that your roof is equipped with building materials that are appropriate to the weather conditions of the area that you live in. Choosing cheap, low-quality materials that do not handle well in certain weather conditions can prove to be a very expensive mistake.
